Lazaretto Cocktail | Quarantine Cocktails

LAZARETTO ↑

Amaro Pasubio, Oloroso Sherry, Lime

A gentle play on Stamped Robin’s Amaro Daiquiri; this sour celebrates Amaro Pasubio’s deep berry & pine flavors. Florido Oloroso Sherry provides warming richness, while a fresh squeezed lime brings everything back to life. Dark and slightly bitter, yet refreshing and lively.

NOTE: We strongly encourage you to make a quick batch of rich simple syrup before making this cocktail. It will make your life easier, and more delicious.

SESSION TYPESETTER ↑

Bonal, Sweet Vermouth, Burnt Sugar, Smoke Bitters

Stamped Robin’s Typesetter cocktail focuses on smoky flavors from Zucca Rabarbaro. In it’s absence, Bonal takes center stage, providing that base layer of vegetal – tobacco leaf character. Burnt sugar syrup, as well as a few dashes of Australian smoke bitters gets this variation pretty damn close.

MARIGOLD ↑

Pineau des Charentes, Dry Vermouth, Underberg, Tonic

Where are all the White Port & Tonic fans at? This Marigold is absolutely the drink of choice heading into the summer months. Pineau has those nutty, dried fruit flavors you’d find in Port/Madeira, but has ample freshness to play well in bright cocktails. Here, we took some inspiration from the Chrysanthemum cocktail (Dry Vermouth, Benedictine, Absinthe) to play with subtle floral notes, as well as a streak of anise & soothing herbs from the Underberg. Top it off with some tonic water for some welcomed fizz.

MACHETE ↑

Cardamaro, Fino Sherry, Dry Vermouth, Trinity Bitters

If there was a bottle to recommend for the home bar, it’d absolutely be Cardamaro. One of the few wine based amari left in production, Cardamaro tastes like a delicate Cynar. And if you haven’t had Cynar, come see Stamped Robin when this is all over.

Machete harkens to rich flavors of candied hazelnuts and warm baking spices, while acidity from dry sherry and vermouth provide precise balance. A beautiful cocktail to be enjoyed either up or over ice.

BITTER SHANDY ↑

Punt e Mes, Grapefruit, Lager

Beer cocktails are here to stay, and we might as well make them taste good. Punt e Mes pairs great with fresh grapefruit. Add a little simple syrup, and top off with a Hamm’s.

NOTE: We strongly encourage you to make a quick batch of rich simple syrup before making this cocktail. It will make your life easier, and more delicious.

SEPARATIST FRENCH 75 ↑

Quinquina Blanc, Lemon, Elderflower Tonic, Jura Brut

Another incredibly important bottle at Stamped Robin is L.N. Mattei Cap Corse Blanc, a Corsican Quinquina that can go with just about anything. This is similar to blanc vermouth, but the addition of cinchona bark adds a lemon peel & fresh cut grass element to the aperitif. Stunning stuff.

Emphasizing the floral characteristics here, we opted for Elderflower tonic syrup, for our sweet component, while still adding complexity. Finish with fresh lemon and our go-to sparkling wine, Marcel Cabelier Cremant du Jura.

Light, floral and plenty of shimmering vibes.
